William Preston Watson is a Chicago based fine artist. He has received his BFA from the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. His work is centered around the use of surveillance in and around marginalized communities. Focused on the body, his works analyze how these ways of surveillance affect black and brown bodies from childhood to adulthood.
